Tanglewood Shores Golf and Country Club is located in the heart of Lake Country in south-central Virginia on beautiful Lake Gaston. Tanglewood Shores is a private golf and recreational community, with a mix of year-round and seasonal residents. An on-going Capital Improvement Program has modernized our facilities, making Tanglewood Shores a Premier Private Community.

Among the many gems of Tanglewood:

• Tanglewood Shores Golf Course - A nine-hole course, open year-round, with 4 sets of tees to accommodate the leisure golfer and still challenge the better golfer, now with New Greens featuring Ultradwarf MiniVerde Bermudagrass. This golf Course will never bore you !

• Swimming Pool - newly renovated and family friendly.

• Recreation Area on the lake including a covered picnic pavilion, picnic tables with grills, a volleyball/basketball court, playground, swimming area with a diving deck, several boat docks, and a boat launch, and fishing.

• Community Center - Modern facility for community functions & dinners. Lending Library with books & DVD's, snack bar, and card room. Property Owners are automatically Members of Tanglewood Shores Golf & Country Club and may choose to use many of the amenities by paying daily or by package fees.
