rn Story has a Lake Gaston history that goes back to the early 1970s. Though he lived and worked in Franklin, he also had a home in Henrico on Lake Gaston. Once he built his sign business in Franklin, his work reached Lake Gaston. rn When Debbie retired in June, Victor wanted to start another signs and engraving business. He sold his Franklin shop in October. Victor was already building the shop on the lake in anticipation of his wife’s retirement. He began moving his state-of-the-art equipment into his 190-A Chestnut Hill, Henrico, shop and went to work. rn The Lakeside Signs & Engraving business is versatile. Victor engraves glassware, plaques, dishes, and canvases. He’s also responsible for many signs one sees when traveling in the Lake Gaston Region, such as the Twin Lakes Marine sign.
